Officer sign-in
Use the email you signed in with in the app. We'll email you a code to type here.
Signed in to the app with Apple and chose Hide My Email? Use that address (it ends in privaterelay.appleid.com); the code still reaches your inbox.
New here? Look around the demo with made-up data, or read the officer quick start. Your department isn't set up yet? See what it does.
No department access
This account isn't an active officer of a department. Another officer can make you one from the Roster tab, or email support@codescribeems.org if this is wrong.
Getting started
Roster
| Name | Role | Status | Joined | Last check-in | Protocol | Codes |
|---|
Codes
Each code is a summary with no dates, times, incident numbers or notes. To find a specific call, give the medic its share code; their app shows which call it was.
Protocol adherence
Often left unrecorded
By scribe
| Scribe | Codes | Fully documented | To first compression | Pediatric |
|---|
By year
| Year | Codes | To first compression | To first shock | To first epi | Any ROSC | Sustained |
|---|
All codes
Tap a code to see its timeline; tap a column name to sort. Tick Reviewed once you've gone over it; only officers see that.
Protocol
Every member's phone picks up a new protocol at its next check-in. Changes here don't reach anyone until you publish. Built-in buttons keep their icons and colors. Buttons you make, here or in the app, are recorded under their own name.
Timers and defaults
Preview of the code screen
Colors and order as members will see them. Icons are left out here; each button keeps its own.
Buttons with a clock
These sit at the top of the code screen and count down to the next rhythm check or dose.
Code screen buttons
In the order they appear. Hidden buttons stay off the screen for every member.

Department
Name
Members' phones show the new name at their next check-in.
Join code
Anyone with the code and the app can ask to join. With automatic approval on, they're in as long as seats remain. If the code got out, make a new one: everyone already in stays in, and the old code stops working.
Students
This is a training program: every code is a mock code, it reaches this dashboard at the student's next check-in instead of after the usual delay, and each one can carry a scenario name. At the end of the term, remove every student in one go. Officers stay, and codes already here stay.
